Curious as to how we came up with this brilliant idea? Well, we actually didn’t! These all-natural therapy packs were originally designed by Jennifer of Ardent Hands, a former local small business that we loved supporting. In the summer of 2018, the owner announced that she would be closing up her shop, but we couldn't stand the thought of losing her wonderful therapy packs. Her products had been a pivotal tool for our customers' wellness journeys. When you find an amazing product, you want to keep it around - so when life handed us lemons, we made therapy packs, and lots of them! With the help of Ardent Hands, we brought the collection in-house to be produced by our incredible team of makers at Slow North. Designed with your wellness in mind, we are proud to use natural cotton & linen fibers and natural, unscented lentils as the filler for our therapy packs.

As I sit here and dream up ways to convey what these products mean to me, I have a freezer-cooled Solstice Neck Wrap draped around my neck - they are that important to my daily well-being! Created to be used warm or cold, they can be used in a variety of ways to promote feelings of relief and relaxation to promote healing and overall wellness. I keep a few therapy packs in the freezer at all times, because I seriously can’t just pick one pattern… the designs are just too beautiful! To use cold, simply store your neck wrap in your freezer until ready to use. For heat therapy, place your therapy pack in the microwave and heat up in 30 second increments until your pack has reached your desired temperature.

Neck wraps are a great companion to have on hand to ease pain and relieve stress. As someone who has dealt with chronic shoulder pain over the last few years, I have found myself reaching into the freezer for a neck wrap time and time again to help ease my pain. The cooling sensation penetrates pain points and aids in reducing inflammation. Using your neck wrap for heat therapy is a foolproof way to soothe sore muscles and relieve stress. For all you ladies out there, heated neck wraps are truly a godsend to relieve menstrual cramps! Just rest the neck wrap on your lower abdomen and you'll feel its magical soothing powers working almost immediately. And while you’re at it, light a candle, kick your feet up and rest a cooled eye mask over your eyes and allow your mind to wander off to your very own wellness wonderland. Although we call them Neck Wraps, their design is so versatile they can be used on any part of your body that may need a little extra TLC.

In the case that you need to clean your therapy pack, we recommend using a clean, damp cloth to spot clean. Since these products are in direct contact with your skin, we do not recommend using any cleaning products that are toxic or contain skin irritants.
