Private DIY Soy Candle Making Workshops

About This Experience

Grab a group of family and friends or plan your next team building event with us and learn all about our candle making process. You'll explore the benefits of paraffin-free soy wax, then dive into the properties of essential oils to create a custom, all-natural scent blend before mixing and hand-pouring your candle.

Your creation will also come with some major bragging rights - not only will your handmade candle be completely customized, it'll also be made from all-natural, sustainable, and biodegradable ingredients!

Included in this workshop:

• Ingredients: cotton/paper wicks, soy wax, essential oils
• One 8 oz glass tumbler
• 1.5 hours of instruction from a seasoned candle-maker
• Sparkling water available upon request
• Space is reserved for 2 hours (enough time to sing Happy Birthday and mingle before or after!)

Private Workshop FAQs

What's the group size minimum and maximum?
For in-store private workshops hosted in our workshop space, the minimum group size is 4 and the maximum is 10. If you have a group of 10+ people, click here to learn more about our off-site workshops or email us to talk about special accomodations we can make.

Do you have a minimum age requirement?
Individuals under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult(s) may participate in the workshop or choose to hang out in the space to supervise.

Can I bring food or beverages?
Hands will be busy during the workshop session but light refreshments are allowed.
Slow North does not provide cups or servingware.
