Sunday, September 19th - DIY Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop
Join us for an afternoon Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop at Slow North's shop featuring local artist Bethany Jane of The Aquariust. With Bethany's guidance, you will learn the macrame process from setup to finish, create your very own macrame plant hanger, and go home equipped with the skills to continue your practice.

The Aquariust was founded by Bethany Jane of Austin, Texas. Bethany creates, as well as teaches, 70's inspired Elevated Macrame, Naturally Dyed Fibers, Textile Art & more. She often collaborates with her ceramicist wife, Alyssa Rose of Golden Day, to enhance her signature floating shelves and hand-dyeing fibers for her plant hangers and more. At the heart of The Aquariust is the intention to empower ourselves through artful exploration; to challenge limiting beliefs by exploring our unique creative lenses in joyful and encouraging experience. Workshops are hosted in Slow North's beautiful north-central shop located at 2700 W. Anderson Ln., Suite 410 (between Epoch Coffee and Madam Mam's) in Austin. Free parking is available in the lot out front.
