Sunday, October 3rd - DIY Embroidery Workshop
Join us for an afternoon Embroidery Workshop at Slow North's shop featuring local artist Sarah Patterson of Mountains of Thread. Sarah will teach you different stitching techniques on a small sampler, then help you start a larger piece, which will be pre-printed with a monarch butterfly design. Return home with the materials needed to finish your piece, plus the skills to start embroidering your own designs. This workshop is great for beginners, but also a challenge for those who have some experience.
Claim your place today! We are limiting class capacity to 8 attendees and masks will be required.
Sarah has been embroidering and running her small business, Mountains of Thread, for 7+ years. She started out selling only finished embroidery pieces, but quickly realized that her love for embroidery was more about the process than the outcome, and that sharing the process was more important to her than selling finished work. Now she primarily sells original embroidery kits and has helped many people learn how to embroider over the past few years.
