Saturday, October 30th - Mirror & Medicine Tarot Workshop
Do you have a Tarot deck and just aren't sure how to use it? Or are you a casual user of the Tarot looking for a seasoned guide to help you explore? Join us for an afternoon Mirror & Medicine Tarot Workshop at Slow North's shop featuring local practitioner Danielle Park of Oak Moon Tarot. This workshop is a holistic introduction to the Tarot, designed to help you fall in love with the cards. You'll learn the fundamentals of the Major and Minor Arcana, how to identify the narrative arcs within the Tarot and how they relate to your life, and how to ask questions in order to give the best readings possible to yourself and others. You will also explore ways to use the Tarot as a contemplative and spiritual practice that can help deepen your relationship with yourself, with art and literature, and the world around you.
Claim your place today! We are limiting class capacity to 8 attendees and masks will be required.
Danielle recommends bringing a notebook and Rider-Waite style Tarot deck from home. We will have notebooks and decks available to purchase in-store.
Danielle, a native Austinite, has been a Tarot reader for 5 years, since the cards (almost literally) saved her life during an emotional and spiritual crisis. She teaches people from all over the country how to use the Tarot in the most intimate and grounded way possible as a practical tool for living and living well.
