Saturday, November 20th - DIY Brush Lettering Workshop
Join us for an afternoon Brush Lettering Workshop at Slow North's shop featuring local artist Amanda Reid. Amanda will teach the basics of brush lettering with brush pens and show you how to use brush lettering for your favorite projects. You will create your own hand-lettered cards and envelopes and return home with the tools needed to continue your practice.

Amanda Reid is a modern calligrapher, workshop instructor and Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is the owner of Amanda Reid Designs, a modern calligraphy studio based in Austin, TX that specializes in providing calligraphy and engraving services for events and brands. Amanda is also the founder of Calligraphers of Color, an inclusive online community that provides resources for and highlights minority calligraphers and their businesses. Workshops are hosted in Slow North's beautiful north-central shop located at 2700 W. Anderson Ln., Suite 410 (between Epoch Coffee and Madam Mam's) in Austin. Free parking is available in the lot out front.
